This film was hyped so much when it came out that I was really afraid that was gonna be another one of those pretentious movies that come out and the wanna-be cultural people praise a lot, but after seeing this movie I have to say Parasite is a masterpiece and my favourite Korean film of all time. The whole plot is about a family trying to earn her place as working stuff on a rich house through bad means. Although, it starts kinda predictable, the whole meaning, metaphors and symbolisms are something out of this world. By doing an intense criticism to modern capitalist system, the experience gives you not only the fun of a nice well-writen plot, but the motive to think and explore the deapth of economical injustices in a whole different way. Bong Joon Ho creates a social masterpiece, which despite some off moments shines brightly and gets a deserving Best Picture Academy Award. A nice educational yet entertaining movie about society that anyone should see.
